The first new cruise ship destination in Alaska in years, Global assisted in product planning and design for the $21 million port destination which was opened in 2004. Global created and directed the multimillion dollar marketing campaign, from pre-opening through to operations.

The marketing program enabled Icy Strait to establish its brand rapidly. Certain cruise line executives opined that our tripartite approach was the most successful ever undertaken. The port currently hosts virtually all major cruise lines.
